LC4 collecting dog food for SNAP recipients

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – With the recent reduction in SNAP benefits, Lucas County Canine Care and Control (LC4) is asking for donations of dog food to give to SNAP recipients or any family facing financial hardship.

Donations of dry dog food can be dropped off at Lc4’s new facility on Monroe Street.

“We see firsthand how much comfort and stability pets provide. No one should ever face surrendering their dog simply because they’ve fallen on hard times. This pantry keeps families together, and right now, we truly need our community’s help to continue that mission,” interim director Terra Bundy said…
