Second suspect arrested in January shooting that killed one, injured another in south Toledo

TOLEDO, Ohio — A second suspect has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal January shooting of an 18-year-old in south Toledo.

According to Toledo police, a 17-year-old boy was arrested Thursday by TPD and U.S. Marshals and booked into the Juvenile Justice Center. It is WTOL 11 policy not to name juveniles unless they’re charged as an adult.

Another suspect in the case, Jaylin Tyler, 20, was arrested in May and indicted by a Lucas County grand jury on charges of aggravated murder and felonious assault in the shooting death of Derrick Rogers…
