TOLEDO, Ohio — With snow on the way later this weekend, those salt trucks are getting ready to hit the road.
The director of Toledo’s Department of Transportation, Jeremy Mikolajczyk, says the trucks used for leaf pickup are actually the same ones used for snow and ice removal. Once pickup is done, they’re getting right to work on the roads as the area prepares for this weekend.
