New food truck rules take effect in Perrysburg

Changes to Perrysburg’s ordinances for mobile food units took effect Thursday.

The changes to Chapter 813 of the city’s codified ordinances are intended to “modernize terminology, clarify permit processes, and expand operational and safety requirements for mobile food units,” officials said in a release.

The changes include a revised registration period, which runs April 1 to March 31 of the following year. The $100 permit fee remains, and the city has 14 business days to review applications. Permits may be denied for violations, but applicants can resubmit within 10 days without additional fees…
