Whenever he’s around other veterans, Toledo resident Ronald Spencer said he feels at home.
The Marine Corps veteran, who served for two years during the Vietnam War, discharging in 1969, said it can be hard for him to relate to people who haven’t been in the service, but veteran groups and events always make him feel he’s not alone.
“I love talking to old veterans from World War II and Korea,” Mr. Spencer said. “They give me a different perspective and I just enjoy talking to them.”…
