TOLEDO, Ohio — No charges will be filed against Blissfield Police Chief Dale Greenleaf, who, in October, shot two dogs after he said they attacked him during his nightly walk while he was off duty.
In an official statement, the village of Blissfield said it had “monitored the situation throughout review of the matter.” Ultimately, the Monroe County Prosecutor’s Office formally declined to file any criminal charges against Greenleaf in the incident.
