Levis Square Park is set to transform into a passport-free marketplace this weekend alive with global spirit.
“America is a salad bowl, not a mixing pot, in my eyes,” said Yasmeen Awwad with the Islamic Center of Greater Toledo.
Ms. Awwad is one of the vendors slated to participate in the city’s inaugural International Holiday Market from 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at downtown Toledo’s Levis Square Park.
