Bowling Green Starbucks baristas go on ‘indefinite, unfair labor practice strike’

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Starbucks baristas in Bowling Green walked off the job Thursday as part of a nationwide strike aimed at pressuring the coffee chain to negotiate what workers call a fair union contract.

Starbucks Workers United organized the local action, joined by supporters calling for higher take-home pay, stronger on-the-job protections and guaranteed hours for baristas.
