Toledo-area fatherhood organizations receive $3.75M in federal grants

Pathway Inc., the Zepf Center, and Ridge Project have been awarded $3.75 million for programs promoting responsible fatherhood in northwest Ohio.

Congressman Marcy Kaptur (D., Toledo) announced the grants in a news release Monday. The awards, made through the federal Responsible Fatherhood Program, “will strengthen families by supporting fathers with tools for responsible parenting, healthy relationships, and economic stability,” according to the release.

The organizations will receive $1.25 million each from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Administration for Children and Families, which will support Pathway Inc.’s Brothers United program, Zepf’s Northwest Ohio Fatherhood Connection Program, and Ridge Project’s TYRO Fathers program…
