Man arrested after allegedly demanding free food at drive-thru, then slowly fleeing from police

Bowling Green Police arrested a Michigan man Tuesday (11/25) after he reportedly demanded multiple free meals at McDonald’s, then led police on a slow speed stop and go chase.

McDonald’s employees at 1470 E. Wooster St. called police around 8:40 a.m., to report an irate customer at the drive-thru. The man, Benjamin Wisner, 41, of Chelsea, Michigan, reportedly was yelling and cursing at employees, and demanding free food.

When approached by police in the drive-thru line, Wisner drove away. Police followed Wisner, who reportedly kept stopping on East Wooster Street. Each time, police would get out of their cruisers and order him to stop, and each time he would drive away slowly…
