TOLEDO, OHIO (TCN) — A 27-year-old man who was reported missing on Nov. 22 was found dismembered in his car a few days later, according to police.
Malicai Calder was discovered deceased on Nov. 25 when Martel Huggins, 33, was pulled over while driving Calder’s work vehicle, WTVG reports. Police were investigating Calder’s disappearance at the time.
An affidavit obtained by WTVG said Calder had been shot and stabbed and some of his body parts were found in the vehicle. The Lucas County coroner confirmed in a news release that an autopsy was performed on the dismembered remains, but the cause, date, and time of death have yet to be determined.
