TOLEDO, Ohio — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle while walking on Cherry Street Thursday night, according to police.
The pedestrian, who police list as unknown and without an age in a press release, was walking southbound on the road just north of the Central Avenue intersection shortly before 6 p.m. when the driver, a 22-year-old from Toledo, hit the pedestrian while merging over to the curb lane.
