Toledo woman accused of making multiple false 911 calls

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo woman is accused of making multiple false calls to 911 over the weekend, then resisting her arrest, according to police.

Beonka Reed, 45, of Toledo, was arrested on Sunday for misuse of 911 system and obstructing official business. Toledo Police affidavits allege she made four false 911 calls on Dec. 6, knowing there was no emergency.

Police said three of those calls were code 3 calls, “which put officer and citizen lives at risk,” the complaint said…
