The annual Christmas Cruz in memory of Toledo police officer Anthony Dia will take place Saturday.
Organized each year by his widow, Jamie Dia, the event “focuses on kindness, giving, and holiday joy for local children and families,” organizers said.
This year’s event begins at 6 p.m. at Crunch Fitness, 4925 Jackman Rd. Children will be able to get pictures with Santa, the Grinch, and other Christmas characters. Cookies, doughnuts, milk, and hot cocoa will be served at no charge, and Santa will have special surprises for good boys and girls…
