$50,000 grant awarded to Safety Net shelter

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Zepf Center’s Safety Net shelter is focused on creating a safe space for youth experiencing homelessness. The organization just received a $50,000 grant.

That grant comes from the Greater Toledo Community Foundation and is specifically meant to help those who’ve experienced human trafficking. Organizers say, unfortunately, a lot of youth who have come through their doors are struggling with this.
