The three dryers resembled the ones at a coin laundry place, only larger, but the washer was nothing like that — a huge metal device looming over eight bins inside.
Each of the dryers had a dozen heavy winter coats tumbling while the washer had a total of 56 coats cycling, seven per bin, in a regular washing detergent solution.
The loads were among dozens that workers at Cousino Restoration & Environmental LLC, a Perrysburg commercial cleaning, disaster response, and restoration company, went through during two day shifts last week — plus a few extra hours that they volunteered.
