TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man has been arrested and charged with two counts of arson for separate fires that occurred in 2025 and 2024.
According to court documents, William McKinley started a fire inside a building at 203 Canal Avenue on or around March 3, 2025. McKinley was allegedly inside the building and started the fire.
Court documents also say that on Aug. 4, 2024, McKinley started a fire at 619 Walbridge Avenue. According to the documents, in an interview, McKinley said he stayed at the building prior to the fire. He also allegedly admitted to setting a fire in a closet, saying he had popped an aerosol can and the fire flashed on him as a result…
