After 28 years away from Toledo, Michael Young must have taken off his planner’s hat when he wrote his Dec. 11 op-ed, “Toledo needs I-475 wider,” from far-away San Diego. The Blade’s title for the piece, which aligns with its own editorial position, gives the op-ed more credence than it deserves.
Mr. Young seems unaware of the issue. One can disagree with his description of the ills that would befall Toledo if I-475 “were entirely eliminated.” But that’s not the issue.
