TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A phone scammer claiming to be a Lucas County Sheriff’s Office captain is targeting realtors with fake jury duty calls, demanding thousands of dollars to avoid arrest.
Chirley Lima, a realtor, received a call from someone identifying himself as Captain Jason Crawford from the Lucas County Sheriff’s Department Warrants and Citations Division.
