Fugitive task force apprehends suspect in Toledo homicide

Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested murder suspect Marshaun Purley, 18, after a brief foot pursuit Wednesday morning in West Toledo.

Mr. Purley was wanted in connection with the Nov. 2 early-morning fatal shooting of Jasmine Queen, 19, who was shot outside a shopping center at Reynolds Road and Hill Avenue.

The task force, led by the U.S. Marshals Service, had been looking for Mr. Purley for just over a month. On Wednesday morning they located him at a home in the 1200 block of Cribb Street, officials said…
