A Toledo man was killed after crossing a marked railroad track early Saturday morning.
Alandre Moore, 36, of the 1800 block of Christian Avenue, was southbound on Detroit Avenue, approaching a train crossing at the 4000 block of Detroit that was not marked with flashing lights. The crossing was, however, marked with flares and train personnel carrying lanterns indicating the road was closed, police said.
A train was backing eastbound across the road when Mr. Moore tried to cross the railroad tracks at about 2:54 a.m…
