Police respond to barricade situation in Ohio

OHIO — Police responded to a shooting and barricade situation Sunday morning in south Toledo that left one person injured, according to authorities.

The call came in shortly after 7 a.m., officials with the Toledo Police Department said at the scene. One person was found with a gunshot wound to the buttocks and was listed in stable condition. It was not immediately clear whether the victim was shot at the location on South Avenue or at another site. The victim has not been identified, and police said no suspect is currently in custody.

The incident involved a barricade situation at a home in the 2000 block of South Avenue. Four people were inside the residence at the time, including three teenagers.
