FREMONT, Calif. (WKRC) – A 93-year-old man is suspected of fatally shooting his 86-year-old spouse in a grocery store parking lot early Saturday, authorities said.
Richard Hocking allegedly shot the woman shortly after midnight Jan. 3 in the 5000 block of Mowry Avenue, according to the Fremont Police Department. Per ABC7News, that’s outside a grocery store. Hocking reportedly called police to report the shooting and said he intended to surrender.
When officers arrived, they found Hocking standing near his vehicle, reports ABC7News. The victim was found seated in the front passenger seat with an apparent gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. A firearm was recovered from the vehicle…
