Court clerical error leads to confusion for family of Dee Warner

ADRIAN, Mich. (WTVG) – The family of a murdered woman thought their legal nightmare might be over Tuesday morning, only to find confusion at the Lenawee County courthouse.

The family of Dee Warner went to court Tuesday morning after a pre-trial hearing appeared on the court’s docket for Dale Warner late at night. Warner was found dead in 2024 inside a storage tank after she was reported missing three years earlier. Her husband, Dale, is charged with murder.

Family members rushed to court after hearing rumors of a potential plea deal, with a trial set to start later this month. When they arrived, they found the court appearance cancelled and were told the hearing was a clerical error…
