Although Perrysburg resident and Rotarian Maria White feels safe in her neighborhood, she would feel a lot safer if a police officer lived on her street.
“I believe that [police] have the training … to observe and to know what belongs and what doesn’t belong and what looks right and what doesn’t look right in the neighborhood,” Ms. White said. “I just think that having someone like that in the neighborhood would make us all feel more safe and protected.”
