BG Police arrest man for inducing panic after restaurant staff lock themselves into office

A Michigan man was arrested Monday (Jan. 5) for menacing and inducing panic after customers at a Bowling Green restaurant were told to get out of the restaurant, and employees locked themselves in the office.

Dennis Daniels, 56, of Saginaw, reportedly caused staff and diners at Chipotle, on East Wooster Street, to fear for their safety. He was later found by Bowling Green Police at a hotel in the 100 block of Campbell Hill Road, and was taken to Wood County Jail.

Bowling Green Police were called around 7:43 p.m., after Daniels screamed at a customer to not get close to him, then sat down next to an employee eating at a table and yelled at her to move. At one point, while an employee made his order, Daniels allegedly told the server that “you’re gonna get this,” as he reached under his shirt to his waistband on the right side…
