FREMONT – A police welfare check on a car in the Walmart parking lot, where the occupant had died, has compelled the Fremont Police Chief to urge the use of shelters during severely cold weather.
Fremont Police Department officers responded to a call on the morning of Jan. 3, for a man parked at the Fremont Walmart, 2052 N. State Route 53, in a white Buick Le Sabre.
