TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A 21-year-old Maumee man is facing multiple felonies for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from somebody through forged checks at a financial service company in Toledo.
On Thursday, a Lucas County grand jury indicted Rashid Spencer on six counts of forgery and one count of theft from a person in a protected class.
In September 2025, Spencer allegedly stole the victim’s checks, made them out to himself and forged the victim’s name on them, according to police records…
