TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The local cycling community came together to honor the life and memory of a Toledo man hit and killed while riding his bike New Year’s Eve.
Members of multiple bike clubs in Toledo installed a ghost bike memorial for Tim Haase at the intersection of 131st St. and Summit St. It marks the location where he was hit by a car while crossing the street on his bike.
The white-painted bike serves as a way to honor Haase’s life and as a reminder to drivers to share the road safely…
