TOLEDO, Ohio — A Lucas County grand jury indicted two people Tuesday on involuntary manslaughter and assault charges for the fatal shooting last year of a 22-year-old after he allegedly attempted to rob a pizza restaurant in west Toledo.
Taylor Raths, 34, and Ronald Hurst, 39, were indicted on one count each of both charge for the death of Jayson Brown, who was shot at Zaza Wood-Fired Pizza & Mediterranean Cuisine in Executive Market Place on Nov. 6 and pronounced dead at the hospital later that night.
