BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Sterling’s Amish Deli in downtown Bowling Green will close for good after six years in business, the owner recently announced on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
Owner Steven Sterling said in the post that he does not “have any fight left in me” to keep the business open, saying that he has put over $100K into renovating the restaurant and undergone two remodels, “the people never really showed up.”
Sterling said it has been a pleasure to serve the community and invited customers to “stop in the next coming weeks for your last Amish deli experience before we close this chapter of my life and move on to the next.” He did not announced a closing date in the post made on Sunday…
