Toledo, OH, January 16, 2025: A 31-year-old physician employed at ProMedica Hospital has been arrested and charged in connection with injuries sustained by an infant, according to law enforcement authorities.
Dr. Hanuman Gowda was taken into custody on January 9 and booked into the Wood County Jail. He faces four counts of child endangering and two counts of felonious assault, court records show.
The charges stem from an investigation involving a 10-week-old infant who was brought to Toledo Hospital on January 4 after caregivers reported the child appeared to be in pain.
