TOLEDO, Ohio — Laughter isn’t a sound you usually expect to hear in a hospital room, especially one filled with machines and monitors. But inside 12‑year‑old Jazz Rocha’s room at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital, it’s the loudest thing in the space.
Her medical journey began six years ago, when severe migraines led doctors to discover two brain tumors.
“We went to an actual doctor and he put her on some medication. Then we went to an eye doctor. Then we came here and they found two tumors,” her mom, Jordan Lesinski, recalled. “That was six years ago, and they got those removed.”…
