TOLEDO, Ohio — Walmart is acce;erating its 2026 health and wellness efforts with The Wellness Event, a free, nationwide program aimed at making preventative care more accessible and more affordable. The event will take place Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Walmart stores across the U.S., including northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.
Designed to help customers start the year informed and supported, The Wellness Event will bring together Walmart’s pharmacy, vision and wellness teams to offer essential healthcare screenings, personalized guidance and access to affordable or no-cost immunizations. Participating locations will provide free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and body mass index at nearly 4,600 Walmart pharmacies, along with complimentary vision screenings at select Vision Centers.
Customers will also be able to receive no-cost flu shots, with most insurance plans, and access other low-cost immunizations, including those for RSV, shingles, tetanus and HPV.
