TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A convenience store clerk’s quick thinking helped keep a student warm during one of the coldest mornings of the year.
Dee Swafford, who has worked at Stop and Go on Alexis near Douglas for two years, said a student came into the store around 8 a.m. seeking warmth.
“A young man came in. He was wearing a hoodie. He had no gloves on. He said he been walking to school and he was coming to get warm,” Swafford said…
