Court docs: Mahoning County has no records related to people named in Kei’mani Latigue case

TOLEDO, Ohio — New court documents show Mahoning County Children Services has no records connected to several people in the Kei’mani Latigue murder case.

11 Investigates reviewed a filing in the Court of Lucas County Common Pleas dated Jan. 23, in which Mahoning County Children Services states it has complied with a subpoena in the case by reviewing its records.

Latigue’s father, Darnell Jones, 34, is accused of kidnapping and murdering the 13-year-old in March. His attorneys had issued a subpoena to Mahoning County Children Services for records for his upcoming trial…
