TOLEDO, Ohio — Imagination Station is transporting visitors 3,300 years into the past with its newest exhibition, TUTANKHAMUN: “Wonderful Things” Treasures from the Pharaoh’s Tomb, which is scheduled to open at the science museum on Jan. 30.
The exhibit recreates the 1922 moment when British archaeologist Howard Carter first peered into the tomb of the “Boy King.” The discovery remains one of the most significant archaeological finds in history because the tomb had remained largely intact and hidden from raiders.
