WOOD COUNTY, Ohio — Blowing snow and slick road conditions remain the biggest concerns in Wood County, particularly in rural areas where drifting can quickly make roads hazardous, according to the county’s emergency management director.
Jeff Klein, director of the Wood County Emergency Management Agency, said conditions can change rapidly outside city limits as wind pushes snow back onto roadways that have already been cleared. While major highways are in better shape, some secondary and country roads remain difficult to navigate.
