Changes add new flavor to 419 Ale Trail

The 419 Ale Trail is returning to northwest Ohio, inviting all lovers of a certain hoppy, full-bodied alcoholic beverage to discover new brews and reacquaint themselves with old favorites.

This year’s event, organized by Destination Toledo, features a map showing all 50 participating breweries and a checklist to help beer lovers tally their brewery visits. The map and 419 Ale Trail stickers are available at partner brewery locations and digitally at visittoledo.org/419aletrail.

“This is our first time on the ale trail,” said Wayne Kinsel, the co-owner of Voodoo Brewing Co. on Central Avenue in Sylvania Township. “We have 30 beers on tap. Ten of them are Voodoo beers, and the other 20 are local-ish.”…
