49 specifications, including for ‘repeat violent offender’ added to indictments of man who allegedly fired at Toledo police

TOLEDO, Ohio — The man who allegedly fired at Toledo police officers following a vehicle and foot pursuit in early January is now facing almost 50 additional specifications to his indictments, according to a Lucas County grand jury report.

Henry Goodlow, 33, was indicted in January on the following counts:

  • One count of attempted murder, a first-degree felony
  • Six counts of felonious assault, a first-degree felony
  • One count of having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony
  • Failure to comply, a felony of the third-degree

On Wednesday, a grand jury added 49 specifications to these charges, each of which now includes the following:

  • Firearm specification – 3 years
  • Firearm specification – 7 years
  • Repeat Violent Offender specification – Cause, attempt or threat of physical harm
  • Repeat Violent Offender specification – Cause, attempt or threat of physical harm, multiple convictions
  • Repeat Violent Offender specification
  • Repeat Violent Offender specification “RVO”
  • Repeat Violent Offender Specification, “RVO” – multiple convictions

Goodlow also faces two counts each of strangulation and assault in a separate indictment, as well as an additional charge of having weapons while under disability.
