TOLEDO, Ohio — A police pursuit that began in west Toledo ended with several arrests early Friday after the fleeing vehicle crashed near the intersection of Digby and Arch streets, close to the Ravine Park Village apartments.
The chase started following a traffic violation and escalated as the driver led officers at high speeds onto local highways, eventually continuing through the city of Oregon. According to authorities, the driver of a Kia lost control and veered off the road, prompting all occupants of the vehicle to flee on foot.
Toledo police, along with officers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Oregon Police Department, responded to the incident. Several individuals were apprehended after the foot pursuit. Authorities confirmed that not all suspects were caught, but stated there is no threat to the public…
