Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority officials studying a potential rapid transit corridor in Toledo are asking the public to weigh in on their priorities for the bus route.
The plans would create a more frequent bus route along Monroe Street, spanning from Sylvania into East Toledo and Oregon via Main Street and Starr and Navarre avenues. The public can weigh in on the route with the survey until March 5, city officials said.
“Bus Rapid Transit is already working in communities across the country,” TARTA CEO Laura Koprowski said in a news release. “It combines elements designed to boost capacity, reliability and frequency along highly-utilized transit lines, along with improving the customer experience.”…
