On Sunday at 10:55 a.m. EST an air quality alert was reported by the National Weather Service in effect until Monday at noon EST for St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne and Monroe counties.
“The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy has issued an Air Quality Advisory for elevated levels of fine particulate (PM2.5) in Southeast Michigan. Pollutants within these areas are expected to be in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups range,” says the weather service.
