TOLEDO, Ohio — A man is in custody after he allegedly assaulted another adult on Wednesday, leading to a brain bleed in the victim, Toledo police said.
According to a police report, officers responded to the 800 block of Utah Street around 5:30 p.m. after receiving a call for an adult who had been assaulted and injured. Police arrived on scene and found the victim suffering from what were described in the report as serious injuries to the head and body. An affidavit filed in Toledo Municipal Court said the victim had noticeable swelling on the face and scratches on the neck.
