Toledo carjacking leaves grandfather in critical condition; suspect dead after I-75 crash

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A grandfather is in critical condition after a carjacking on Emerald Avenue dragged and seriously injured him. The suspect died following a crash on Interstate 75.

Donald Russell was driving his granddaughter, Anniyah Fell, and her boyfriend to a bus stop on Emerald Avenue on Thursday afternoon. While Fell and her boyfriend said their goodbyes, Russell waited in the car.
