TOLEDO, Ohio — Five people are safe, though one person was taken to the hospital after a house fire in East Toledo early Saturday morning.
The fire broke out around 6 a.m. at a home in the 400 block of Walden Avenue. About two hours later, the roof of the home collapsed as crews continued working at the scene.
