FREMONT – A $2.3 million underground utilities project for Oak Harbor Road was approved by city council, with $1.5 million in funding coming from grants the city applied for two years ago.
Mayor Danny Sanchez said that Oak Harbor Road will be redone from State Street to just before the bypass.
“There will be some infrastructure work done underneath the road, and there’s going to be a complete resurface on top of that,” Mayor Danny Sanchez said. “It’s a great project. This is another project for a grant that we received two years ago, that we had to wait to use, which we are matching with state and local dollars.”…
