TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Board of Lucas County Commissioners is now accepting applications for several county boards and encouraged community-minded people to apply.
According to a press release, Lucas County is currently accepting applications from community members to be appointed to the following boards:
- Toledo Zoological Society
- Toledo Lucas County Convention & Visitors Bureau
- Lucas County Children Services Board of Trustees.
Representatives from the Lucas County Commissioners’ Office said those appointed will take an active role in shaping the future of their community by contributing their expertise, insight and passion to local government. They hope those appointed will help Lucas County remain a thriving, well-managed community.
