Sam Miller, of Oregon, stopped by a reptile show Sunday looking for a gecko for his 10-year-old son’s birthday.
“Mike is fascinated by them, so I want to see which type of gecko would be best for him,” Mr. Miller said. “I also have to find out what types of things one needs. I think Mike will be thrilled. I told him I would get one when he was old enough to care for it.”
The Glass City Exotics Expo, hosted by the Reptile Lovers of Toledo, took over the American Legion Post 587 on West Alexis Road. The post was the place to be for those who love exotic animals — and those who call Slytherin House home…
