Maumee River Fest, a new spring festival, is being launched by the city in April.
“This unique celebration brings together three signature elements: community fun, a fishing tournament weigh-in, and the debut of the Walleye Run 5K, all inspired by the energy and excitement of the annual Walleye Run on the Maumee River,” said Nancy Gagnet, city spokesman.
